Ryders World is a thoughtfully designed application that helps me seamlessly manage events with my son and preserve their memories through an integrated photo gallery. Built with Ruby on Rails, the app features a calendar view that organizes events by date, offering an intuitive way to visualize both past and upcoming events. I am able to create, edit, and delete events after securely logging in through Devise for authentication. A highlight of Ryders World is its integration with AWS S3, enabling smooth image uploads for each event, ensuring scalability and reliability for photo storage. To make finding specific events easy, the app uses pg_search for a powerful search experience, allowing us to locate events by title in seconds. Whether we are planning a small gathering or documenting an adventure, Ryders World provides a platform to create lasting memories together.
